Beautiful Manuscript: Anthology of Topics in Practical Kabbalah, Amulets, Mazalot and Lots - Many Illustrations. Persia, Late 19th-Early 20th Century - Beautiful rare and complete manuscript of over 300 pages dealing with typical Kabbalistic subjects - preparing segulahs, writing amulets, casting lots, and more. Most of the manuscript is written by a single writer. Persian script, late 19th-early 20th century. The sefer  includes the texts and the instructions for preparing amulets for mazal, protection, childbirth, love, against hatred, to kill the hater (!), against theft, to find the thief, for sleep, for illness, for a plague, to annul sorcery, to make gold ink (!), against the evil eye, against the evil inclination; amulets per the Zodiac for males and for females, and much, much more. The manuscript bears a compilation of passages from many Kabbalistic works, including: Amtachat Binyamin , Urim V'Tumim , Toldat Adam , HaMazalot , Raziel , Derech Yesharah , Zevach Pesach  and others. The manuscript has not been examined with the purpose of finding whether it contains unknown information. Sacred Names and angels' names appear along the length of the manuscript, as well as many tables, drawings and illustrations, including the sword of Ashmeda'i, king of the demons, open hands (”Hamsa”) and more. [8], 40; 270 pages, all but 6 written. Fully complete. 17.5 cm. Overall fine-very fine condition. The first leaf is detached. Light tears in the margins of several leaves. Stains. Antique leather binding, chafed and somewhat worn.
