'The Maggid' [Tana”ch] Part II. Slavuta, 1819. Impressive Copy. Wide Margins. Signatures - Sefer HaMaggid  - Ashkenazic translation of Na”ch. Part II, Melachim and Divrei HaYamim. With cantillation and notations of kri  and ktiv  and the kapittelach . Printed in sanctity by the sacred Rabbi Moshe of Slavuta. Slavuta, 1819. This HaMaggid commentary is completely different from the earlier publications. In addition, it was printed in block letters, and not in Tze'enah U'Re'enah  lettering. Aside from the HaMaggid  commentary, other commentaries were included: Targum Yonatan Ben Uziel, Rash”i's commentary and references from Sefer Toldot Aharon ; Metzudat David and Metzudat Tziyon. The title page bears: a signature, a ”proofread” notation, notes from the censor and a foreign-language stamp. The content of the signatures and the notations has not been examined. 162; 64 leaf. 24.5 cm. Bluish paper. Especially wide margins, up to 7 cm from the printed text. Fine-very fine condition. Minimal worming perforations. Slight tears in the margins of individual leaves. Tear without lack in the title page. New binding.
