Sefer Zohar al HaTorah - Complete Set. Slavuta, 1805-1810


Sefer HaZohar al Chamishah Chumshei Torah - Bereishit, Shemot VaYikra, Bamidbar, and Devarim. Two different editions. Printed in Slavuta by the partners Dov Ber b"r Yisrael Segal and Dov Ber b"r Pesach.


It is accepted that the printer - referred to as the machzik hadefus in the approbations, was the gaon Rabbi Moshe Shapira, av beit din of Slavuta, who for unknown reasons chose to print anonymously. Only later was his name printed on the title pages of the various sefarim.


Bereishit: 1805.

Important approbations given to the machzik hadefus dk"k Slavuta by Rabbi Yehudah Leib Auerbach, ra'ava"d of Tortchin, Rabbi Menachem Mendel ra'ava"d of Rovne, and Rabbi Yisrael, dayan of Rovne. Signatures and owners' notations.

Moderate-fine condition. Worming perforations, primarily in the first leaves. Mold stains in the tops of the last leaves.

Moderate to moderate-fine condition. Worming perforations. Stains and wear, primarily in the first and last leaves. Tear with lack in one leaf, without damage to text. Stains and usage marks. Several leaves are partially detached.
