Printed leaf under the title: "Excellent protection and great segulahs for military personnel." Compiled and printed by the shu"b and Kabbalist Rabbi Chaim Meir Weider, disciple of the Spinka Rebbe, and the Ahavat Yisrael of Vizhnitz. Nagysomkút - Satmar. Without year of print. Yiddish.


The leaf contains approximately 22 Kabbalistic segulahs whose purpose is to protect Jewish soldiers in the battlefield. On the first leaf are 15 segulahs for military personnel. On the second leaf are seven additional segulahs "for the soldiers on the battlefield."


The name of the printer appears on the leaf, along with his address: Chaim Meir Weider, Nagysomkut Szatmarmegye Ungarn. There is a rare kuntress known entitles Shomer Yisrael with segulahs and shemirahs composed by R' Chaim Meir Weider, printed in S. Worhol in 1943. In the book Zikaron L'Kehillot Margriten (p 168-170) there is an essay called 'Tzaddik B'Sherut HaTzibbur' about the shochet the Chassid Rabbi Chaim Weider, who edited the compilation Shomer Yisrael, which notes that he dealt in Kabbalah. This leaf does not mention any name.
