Chassidut, first edition. Sefer Iggera D'Kallah on the Torah. This important and renowned Kabbalistic Chassidic work was authored by the Admo"r Rabbi Tzvi Elimelech Shapira of Dinov, author of Bnei Yissachar - one of the gedolei Admo"rei hadorot. Lvov, 1868. Two parts bound together with separate title pages [Part I - Bereishit; Part II - Shemot, Vayikra, Bamidbar, Devarim]. First editions.

This sefer discusses 'awesome foundations and introductions to Kabbalistic wisdom, arranged alphabetically. Many gilgulim are also included ... and in these introductions, one who looks carefully will find what he is searching for in all sifrei HaKabbalah, and he should not refer to the empty introductions which are not at all useful.'

In this work, the author of Bnei Yissachar collected all the Kabbalistic foundations and introductions, mussar and Chassidut, upon which his many derashot spread throughout his sefarim are based, especially Bnei Yissachar.

The Divrei Chaim of Sanz writes in his approbation to the sefer: "The gaon, the author's greatness and righteousness are known all over the world ... and who has not benefited from his works which have already been released? ... yet many cannot comprehend them. So for the sake of the gaon, the author ... join those who perform mitzvahs and purchase this sacred sefer."

Part I - Bereishit: [6], 134 leaf; Part II - Shemot-Devarim: [1], 26; 12, [1]; 56 leaf. 25 cm. The margins of the [4] leaves with Kabbalistic Name combinations at the beginning of the sefer are somewhat cropped.

Moderate-fine condition. Aging stains. Tears and adhesions in the margins of some of the leaves, with damage to individual words. Tear with lack in the corner of leaf 13 of the final pagination. Restored tear in the corner of the title page, with damage to individual words. Pasted-on paper for reinforcement on the back of the title page. Simple binding, slightly blemished.
