Aristotle's work on logic, the abbreviated version by the famous medieval Arab philosopher Abu Al-Walid Muhammad Ibn Rushd, translated into Hebrew by Rabbi Ya'akov ben Machir in 1289, and printed here for the first time.

Dr. Ya'akov Markriah's, the proofreader's, foreword appears on the back of the title page.

Very rare book.

68 leaf. 15 cm. Very fine condition. The title page is shorter than the other leaves in the sefer.

Essays on philosophy. The book was written in Greek and abbreviated in Arabic by the famous medieval Arab philosopher Abu Al - Walid Muhammad Ibn Rushd, translated into Hebrew by Rabbi Moshe Ibn Tibbon in 1240, and printed here for the first time.

This is Ibn Rashd's first book printed in full in Hebrew. (Only some of his books were printed in Sha'ar Shamayim by Gershon Ben Shlomo, Venice, 1547),

With a foreword by Dr. Ya'akov Markriah. Very rare book.
