Rare: Manuscript of Practical Kabbalah. Dozens of Kabbalistic Illustrations and Diagrams - Thick manuscript of practical Kabbalah containing lots to predict the future, amulets, segulahs and incantations. The first leaves are lacking and the author's name is unknown, but according to the fluent script and the precise sketches on the amulets, as well as the many usage marks that attest to the masses who sought salvation, it seems that the writer/owner of this sefer  was a first-rate, expert Kabbalist. Judeo-Arabic and some Hebrew. [North Africa, late 19th-early 20th century.] Contents of the manuscript: Pages [1-26]: Lots for predicting the future. Graphic illustration at the end. Pages [27-40]: Texts for amulets and incantations for a variety of issues, including: an amulet for ayin hara , for a childless woman, for difficulty in childbirth, for anything, for headache, for sleep, to bring person who is far away back home ( kefitzat haderech? ) Pages [41-107]: Sha'ar entitled ”Sefer Raziel” - additional texts for amulets and incantations for a variety of issues, and the arrangements of groups of angels who rule the world for specific hours of the day, for the purpose of making them take oaths. Pages [108-144]: ”Sha'ar Segulot shel HaCholeh”: amulets, lots and incantations for a variety of diseases and problems. Pages [144-254]: ”Sha'ar HaAhavot”: amulets, lots and incantations for love, to cause love or distance between a couple and more. The last two leaves of the  sefer  bear verses against Amalek, alongside a picture of a donkey (implying a  klipah ), and a colophon. Approximately [250] written pages. Lacking several leaves. Approximately 17.5 cm. Overall moderate-fine condition. Several detached leaves. Tears (some with lack) and wear in several leaves. Stains and ink smudges. Old binding, chafed.
