sefer printed in Dyhernfurth.
The signature of the gaon Rabbi Aryeh Leib of Skohl, author of Leviat Chen, appears prominently on the title page: "Hashem has granted me this sacred sefer, the youth Aryeh Leib, presently of Skohl" as well as other notations that indicate his ownership of the book.
Rare '
mahadura kamma' edition of the Beit Shmuel. The author later printed his '
mahadura batra.' The printer, Rabbi Shabtai Meshorrer, was known due to his famous work
Ikar Siftei Chachamim on Rash"i's commentary on the Torah, printed in almost all chumashim.
