Manuscript, Pair of Never-Printed Moroccan Works! 18th-19th Centuries - Volume with two works in manuscript by Moroccan sages of the 18th-19th centuries. To the best of our examination, this pair of works has never been printed. * Likkutei Chiddushim al HaTorah V'Midrashim Shonim  by an unknown author, c. 1790. Scribal script, with several glosses in a different script. ”Eliyahu Othmazgin” is written on page 18a - possibly the scribe. Novellae appear by, inter alia , ”Rabbi Moshe Peretz, emissary of Chevron” [page 2a]. Rabbi Moshe served as an emissary c. 1750s. This insight is mentioned in manuscripts by Rabbi Ya'akov Toledano of Meknes. Also mentioned are: Rabbi Yonah ibn Denan; Rabbi Moshe Galante; Rabbi Avraham Bruchim, and others. The manuscript also relates two sensational segulahs from Rabbi Shimshon of Osterpolye - the well-known segulah for erev Pesach, and a segulah for a plague. 36 leaf, [71] written pages. Moderate condition. Old damp stains. Several worming perforations. * Chiddushim U'Ma'amarim  by Rabbi Betzalel Mansano, a Fez sage, c. 1840. Scribal script, apparently disagreeing with the aforementioned R' Eliyahu Othmazgin, and disagreeing with the author's son. This work was given by the author's son, Rabbi Yonatan Chaim Tziyon. Written at the beginning of the manuscript: ”I will start to write novellae and essays by my father, the complete sage, scion of tzaddikim and a living tree, old in wisdom while young in years, leading sermonizer, Betzalel Mansano ...” Sefer Malki Rabbanan  p. 24 quotes a slightly different version of the above foreword by the author's son. 82 leaf, incomplete at the end. 16 cm. Poor-moderate condition. Ink smudges in several leaves, with lack in the text. Dark stains in several places in the text that are difficult to decipher. Handmade binding by the author, partially dismantled and worn.
