Book of Tehillim that Belonged to the Elder Mashgiach, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Gedaliah Eisman


Book of Tehillim with the Rada"k's long commentary. Especially proofread edition printed according to first prints and with the addition of many glosses. Tel-Aviv. 1946. This edition of Tehillim includes no commentaries alongside the Tehillim text, for clear and easy reading. The Rada"k's commentary follows it, with a separate title page.


Personal Sefer Tehillim that belonged to the mashgiach Rabbi Gedaliah Eisman, renowned mashgiach of the Kol Torah yeshivah. Handwritten owner's notation on the title page by his son-in-law and successor, the gaon Rabbi Shlomo Breuer, mashgiach of the Beit Matityahu yeshivah: "From my father-in-law's estate."


The gaon Rabbi Shlomo Breuer also included a lengthy and detailed confirmation, "I hereby confirm that I received this Sefer Tehillim as an inheritance from the estate of my father-in-law Rabbi Gedaliah Eisman, spiritual dean of the Kol Torah yeshivah. My father-in-law often used the Rada"k's commentary on Tehillim in the mussar talks he delivered over the decades at the yeshivah. Shlomo Breuer, son-in-law of the mashgiach, ztz"l."
