Chassidic-Kabbalistic Tehillim. Lvov, 1879. First Edition. Special Variant

"When the author wrote his commentary, Shlomo HaMelech's soul enveloped him" (Sar Shalom of Belz)

Tehillim with the "Derash Moshe" commentary by the Kabbalist Moshe Osterer of Zamoshtsh, one of the leading Kabbalists in the Brody  kloiz,  and Rabbi Gershon of Kitov's in-law. With the  Ma'amadot service. Lvov, 1879. First edition, printed per the manuscript in Rabbi Yehoshua of Belz's collection. Special variant.

Tehillim adorned with Chassidic approbations from leading Admo"rim blessing the purchasers and those who use this text to recite Tehillim: "Abundant blessings will ensue for those who buy this work" (the Vizhnitzer Rebbe); "The author's sacred merit will protect all those who support ... and purchase this book for its full price" (The Chortkover Rebbe).

Unique variant: There are copies with the Admo"r Chaim of Sanz's approbation. In other copies such as this one, the Divrei Chaim's approbation was omitted, and in its place there are approbations from the Admo"rim of Sadigura, Chortkov, Husiatyn and Vizhnitz (apparently due to the Sanz-Sadigura dispute!). There are also copies known to have a subscriber list at the back, on leaves 33-43, but this copy has an entirely different list, from other cities, on leaves 33-39.

With Seder Ma'amadot per the Shla"h, followed by Seder Ma'amadot per the gaon and Kabbalist - the author of Tevuat Shor, and the recitations of the korbanot per the sacred Rebbe of Apta. Seder Ma'amadot has a dedicated title page.

Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of Rabbi Moshe Osterer of Zamoshtsh.

[5], 9, 345; 33-43 leaves. 21.5 cm.
Fine condition. Aging stains. Tear in the corner of the title page. Wear in the margins of the following leaf, all without lack in the text. Lacking the first leaf of approbations (not the one with the approbations from the Admo"rim).
