Volume in small dimensions including three orders of the mishnah: Zeraim, Moed and Nashim. Amsterdam, David de Castro Tartas Press, 1664. With several comments and markings in an antique script.
An interesting innovation is included in this edition: In places where there is a dispute between the tana'im, a star appears beside the words of the tanna according to whose opinion halachah has been determined.
Especially rare sefer. A facsimile of this edition was printed in 1969. Mif'al HaBibliographiah lists an incorrect number of leaves. The copy in the Valmadonna library presently in the National Library lacks the title page.
Miniature edition - book size 10.5x5.5 cm - and its thickness is only 1.5 cm!!
Originally: 196, [1] leaf. Here, leaves [1]-3 are lacking, as well as 145-181. The book opens with an antique completion written by hand for some of the text that is lacking.
Fine-very fine condition. Usage and aging stains. Old binding, blemished.
