The text of Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah appears in the center of the leaf, surrounded by two "Peirot" (Ginosaur):

One, 'Pri Chadash, ' is the famous commentary on Shulchan Aruch by Rabbeinu Chizkiyah di Silvah.

The second, 'Pri Toar, ' is by Rabbi Chaim ben Attar, author of Ohr HaChaim HaKadosh. Several glosses in early Oriental script.

First edition of Peirot Ginosaur by Rabbeinu Chaim ben Attar, printed in his lifetime. Due to the fact that his commentary 'Pri Toar' includes many critiques of 'Pri Chadash, ' his commentary is printed together with 'Pri Chadash.'

There were rabbinic leaders who were afraid to study this work because the Ohr HaChaim writes in his introduction to 'Pri To'ar': "These words of mine are presented to each reader, who if he approaches them to obstruct me, I will say words to cause his death with the sting and the hiss and the bite of a snake." And due to the greatness of his sanctity, they were afraid that if they disagreed with him while studying, they would be hurt by his exactness.
