* Pruzbol document, including a halachic innovation, signed by the gaon Rabbi Tzvi Pesach Frank and Rabbi Chaim Shlomo Rosenthal. Jerusalem, 1938.
Important
shtar pruzbol signed by the chief rabbi of Jerusalem, the gaon Rabbi Tzvi Pesach Frank, author of
Har Tzvi, and the gaon Rabbi Chaim Shlomo Rosenthal, the
safra d'dayna, stamped by the Bada"tz. It was customary in Jerusalem over the years that signatures by two witnesses on the
pruzbol were sufficient, and there was no need for three
dayanim. However, in a case like this, the text of the
pruzbol must be different. In this document, we see that even for the standard text designated for a
beit din, the Har Tzvi was satisfied with just two signatures.
