Appropriate prayer service for requesting mercy from destroyers and cruel diseases, per the Sephardic custom ... Amsterdam, Thursday, 18 Cheshvan, 1727.
"End the plague and the sword and hunger and bad diseases from our homes and surroundings." The prayer service includes: Various selichot, the 13 attributes of mercy, shofar-blowing, Parashat HaKetoret and more. The final leaves bear a prayer for the success of the governments in Holland and Amsterdam, with a Dutch introduction preceding them. Several similar compilations were printed in Amsterdam at the time.
