Huge Collection of Over [100] Music Booklets for Yiddish Songs. USA, Early 20th Century
Broad collection of over [100] sheets of musical notes for popular songs in Yiddish by the greatest songwriters and cantors. (A few sheets are dedicated to songs in Hebrew). The vast majority have a colorful designed title page, some even with a picture of the cantor.
Inter alia, there is sheet music for "Shofar shel Mashiach - Di Nevueh" by the famous cantor, Yosseleh Rosenblatt, with a rare picture of him.
Approximately 103 sheets. Various sizes. Some of the sheets include four printed pages, and some [8] pages.
Overall very fine condition. Minimal aging stains. Wear in one leaf. Slight tears.
