Mishlei with the Meorei Chaim commentary. Based on the words of Rabbeinu Bachya and his works, Rabbi Yonah of Girundi and the words of the GRA of Vilna, by Rabbi Zevulen Charlop. Jerusalem, 1891. Only edition.
[2], 56 leaves, 20 cm.
Interesting approbation from Rabbi Yehoshua Leib Diskin and the dayanim in his beit din. The last leaves features novellae from tractate Pesachim and Bava Metzia. Rabbi Zevulen Charlop was born in Poland in [1840]. In [1850], he moved with his parents to Jerusalem. A miracle happened during their journey (related material included). He was a disciple of Rabbi Nachum of Shadik and Rabbi Meir Auerbach. He later received smicha from the beit din of the Maharil Diskin. He was the father of Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Charlop. Rare.
