the Ministry of Finance is an Israeli government company. The company was established in 1936 in order to establish the Tel Aviv Port and is responsible for it.
The state and the city were given controlling shares (50% of the shares) in 1936, but the remaining shares were sold to the public in order to raise funds for the construction of the port. The port ceased operating in 1965 and the company currently manages the port area - maritime and land
