With introduction, preface and comments in Latin.
The editor and proofreader, Heinech Opitz (1642-1712) worked on this edition for many years. He utilized a number of early editions of Tanach, manuscripts and Rav Menachem de Lonzano's
Ohr Torah.
Thick, impressive Tanach with reddish cut leaves and an elegant leather spine.
Two title pages, the first with a copperplate engraving.
Some leaves bear markings in the text itself and marginal Latin comments.

Kiel (North Germany), 1709. The first of the two Hebrew books printed in Kiel, Germany. (The second book was an additional edition of this Tanach.)
[16] 531, [2], 535-738, [2] leaves. 23 cm.
Light worming holes in the margins of the two title pages and first leaves, small restored tear in the margin of one of the leaves, a few stains, new binding. Fine condition.
