Leaf handwritten by the Av Beis Din of Yaritshov, Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Scor, to Rabbi Menachem Manish Margolis, the father of the Gaon author of the Beis Ephraim.

Personal letter by Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Schor, author of Mincha Chadasha, to his relative the Gaon Rabbi Menachem Manish Margolis, the father of the Gaon author of the Beis Ephraim.

[1] leaf, 17X22 cm. Handwritten by Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Schor and wit his signature: "יאבי"ץ ס"ט". The writer confirms that he had received the Seforim of Rabbi Menachem Manish and responses by his brother the Gaon Rabbi Alexander Sender Margolis and by the Rav of Trinopol. He apologizes for not answering his son's letter "the great sharp renowned Rav M. Zalman", since he received a responsum from the author of Ketzos HaChoshen [this responsum was printed in his Sefer] and a responsum from Av Beis Din of Buchach. Enclosed is confirmation by an expert who identified his handwriting.

Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Schor (1730-1800) the son of Rabbi Yisroel Av Beis Din of Yaritshov author of Sefer Einei Yisroel. A disciple of his father and of Rabbi Aharon of Tismenitz. His father's successor and author of the Mincha Chadasha Seforim on the Shas (1774) and Likutei HaKemach (1789-1792). Merited many enthusiastic approbations by the Sages of his generation.

Fold marks, stains, wear to the edges of the leaf, good condition.
