Pair of Goblets for Circumcision Service. Stamped Silver. Poland, 19th Century
Set of 2 silver cups for a ritual circumcision etched with the inscriptions: "Kos shel Berachah" and "Kos shel Metzitzah, " respectively. Stamped. Poland, 19th century.
The cups are in the form of a smooth circle with a double rim. Delicate etching of beautiful decorations and the inscriptions: 'כוס של ברכה' and 'כוס של מציצה.' They apparently belonged to a Jewish community in 19th-century Poland.
Height: 7 cm. Diameter 5 cm. Total weight: 75 grams.
Fine condition. Slight dent.
