A large collection of historical excerpts from the press including interesting information about important events in the Chareidi community from the 1920’s to the 1970’s. About 30 issues and excerpts from various newspapers, Hamevasser, Hamodia, Halapid Neirot Shabbat, Yiddishe Vort, Hachaim Das Leben, Das Torah Leben, Zgerzsher Yiddishe Shtimeh, Haeidah, Haatid, Shearim, Digleinu, Hachaim, and more. From the 20’s until the 70’s, most of the issues are from the 30’s until the 50’s. Includes, among the rest, a collection of newspapers about: the state of health of the Admor of Gur, the arrival of the Admor Rebbe Aharon of Belz to Eretz Yisrael, the third convention of Agudat Yisrael – Jerusalem, [1941], the deaths of: Rabbi Yosef Chaim Zonnenfeld, Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinski, the Admors of Belz, of Hosiatin, and of Chortkov. A collection of newspapers from the years of the Holocaust about what was happening to the communities in Poland. A large and important collection, in a folder. Generally in good condition.
