Haggadah shel Pesach faren Driten Seder [Passover Haggadah for a Third Seder], issued by the American organization, the national Committee for labor Israel. New York: Schulsinger Bros. press, [1953]. Yiddish, Hebrew and a little English. Cover designed by Pinchas Schuldenrein.
A non-traditional Haggadah that was printed for a "Third Seder" in the USA. Contains passages of the traditional version alongside passages of poetry and prose in Yiddish and Hebrew and several illustrations and photographs. The cover of the Haggadah was designed by Pinchas Schuldenrein.
The front cover of the booklet was signed by Golda Meir (Myerson) [Meir delivered the main speech in the events of the "Third Seder" which was organized by the Histadrut in the USA in 1953].
3-37, [1] pp, 22.5 cm. Good condition. Dampstains on the margins of several leaves. Stains, creases and minor blemishes to cover. Traces of tape on the spine.
