The most comprehensive and exhaustive research ever published of the Auschwitz extermination camp and its gas chambers. The author, Jean-Claude Pressac (1944-2003), was a Holocaust denier and revisionist who decided to investigate the subject in order to disprove the claims that the Germans murdered Jews in Auschwitz. Following his years-long research he changed his own views and proved the truth about the death camps at Auschwitz. Profusely illustrated with hundreds of original German architectural plans and diagrams, photographs taken both during and after the war, and many German documents, with translations. Only 600 copies printed, of which 500 were donated to Jewish libraries and research institutes and only 100 were ever offered for sale. 564 pp, 45.5x30 cm. Very good condition.
