Illustrated Ketubah, Persia 1884
Ketubah (marriage contract), recording the marriage of the groom David ben Mordechai to the bride Tzivia bat Yeshua. Many signatures and a document with many signatures on the leaf's reverse side. Adorned with characteristic color illustrations, lions, birds, the sun and flowers. Isfahan, Nissan 5644.
53X65 cm. (Maximal size including colored paper frame: 63X75 cm.). Fair condition, many tears to folds, creases and stains.
