Collection of Receipts - With Signatures of Jerusalem Rebbes and Rabbis
Collection of receipts, signed notes and letters - completed and signed by individuals and institutes, regarding funds received for various charities, via Kupat Rabbi Meir Ba'al HaNess - Kollel Ahavat Zion Zibnbergen (Transylvania). Jerusalem, [1960s-1970].
Among those who signed the receipts are many well-known rabbis and rebbes, illustrious individuals of Jerusalem tsaddikim such as R. Yechezkel Shraga Lifshitz-Halberstam of Stropkov [the Stropkov Rebbe]; R. Shmuel Ya'akov Kahn [the Toldot Aharon Rebbe]; R. Yechiel Leifer and R. Levi Yitzchak Leifer [Nadvorna Rebbes]; and more.
Approximately 440 receipts and notes. Size varies. Fair condition. About half with dampstains and mildew.
