Torat Moshe’. Chatam Sofer on the Torah. Vienna, 1906. Dedication and signature of Rabbi Asher Anshel Weiss, Rabbi of [Silady] Nadi Paulo. Stamp of Rabbi Asher Anshel Weiss on title page, and a handwritten dedication and signature. Rabbi Asher Anshel Weiss [1882-1944] was a student of Rabbi Shmuel Binyamin Sofer, served as the Rabbi of [Silady] Nadi Paulo, Hungary. Was murdered in the Holocaust. Torah thought of his were printed in his book ‘Shemen Le’Menucha’ [Jerusalem, 1969]. New binding. A few missing pages. Damages in a few pages. Moderate condition.
