Chamisha Chumshei Torah, Genesis. Precise, with illustrations. Warsaw, Safrut publishing, [1912]. [1] leaf, 88 pages [12] picture plates, some colored. Quality paper. 22 cm. Genesis with eye-catching illustrations, no other chumashim were printed. The illustrations were printed on one-side-only of the leaf, some are colored. The illustrations are not signed, and the identity of the artist is unknown. The location of printing isn’t listed, however “Safrut” publishing was active in Warsaw and they printed illustrated works. Original binding, with a sticker title page. Very fine condition, other than two detached leaves.
