Holocaust collection of 67 documents and photos. Nazi, NKVD 1939-45
Album with documents, papers, photos and letters in Yiddish, German, Polish and Russian of a Polish Jew from Lublin Pesach Zajdenwerg, including:
1. Document in German from Commissar of the Burgermilitz in Lublin in Jewish quarter an SS that Chief of the company Zajdenwerg & Co Pesach Zajdenwerg is indispensable in his company. This document was (letter of) safe-conduct for him and his family not to get into ghetto, The confirmation from 20 September, 1940
2. Zajdenwerg fled in 1940 with his family to the USSR, where he was arrested by NKVD and sent to a camp in Kazakhstan where he worked as bookkeeper
3. Inquiry to Commissariat of Red Army that Zaidenwerg really works as bookkeeper in state farm and is essential for this organization. In Russian
4 Document 1943 of his dismissing to serve in Red Army, sent to the front. In Russian
5. Papers concern living conditions of him and his family in Kazakhstan. In Russian
6. Some letters, sent from occupied by Nazi Lublin
7. Many photos of Zajdenwerg, his family and friends in Poland, Kazakhstan, Red Army and in other places
He survived the Second World War and afterwards moved to Israel.
