Rabbi Yosef Gershon Horowitz: (1869-1951) was rabbi of the Mea She'arim neighborhood and head of the Meah She'arim Yeshiva. He headed the public institutions in Jerusalem: the General Committee, the City Council for Jerusalem Jews, the Religious Council, the Ashkenazi Community Committee, the Mizrachi branch in Jerusalem, and more.
Rabbi Yitzchak Ya'akov Wachtfogel: Rabbi of the Meah Shearim neighborhood and head of the Meah Shearim Yeshiva in Jerusalem, died in 5735. He has published numerous articles in various journals.
