Letter signed by Rebbe "Ha-Penei Menachem" of Gur, 5729.
The letter is personal, to the philanthropist Rabbi Aharon Sorimfer, describing the institutions of the Gur movement and its difficult economic situation. Very exciting and interesting!

Rabbi Pinchas Menachem Alter (1926 - 1996) was the Admor of Gur and the President of the Council of Torah Sages of Agudath Israel during the last four years of his life, and served for many years as Rosh Yeshiva of Sfat Emet, Member of the Council of Torah Sages of Agudath Israel and Chairman of Agudath Israel. Known as the Pnei Menachem after the name of his work.
