Rabbi Ptachia Menkin: (December 17, 1881 - 19 Tevet 5747 January 1947) was the rabbi of several communities in Russia. Author of books in halacha and aggadah. Father of Rabbi Moshe Tzvi Neria.
Rabbi Yisrael Zissel Dvoretz (also known as the pen name: Platin) (1885-1968) was a rabbi and an ultra-Orthodox activist. He served as rabbi of Udi and Bizada, Lithuania, editor of the Torah journal Tavuna.
