Novella on Maseches Bava Basra, by R. Meir HaLevy Abulafiah, one of the Rishonim. This work was published by the SHaDaR of Kehilas Chevron, R. Yosef Eliyahu HaLevy from a manuscript found by R. Yom Tov Algazi (MaHaRIT Algazi). Volume One contains approbations by the MaHaRIT Algazi, R. Dovid Pardo and others. Volume two contains an introduction by R. Chaim Mod’ai and R. Yitzchok Meiov of Izmir.
R. Meir HaLevy Abulafiah (1170-1244), was Rav, Dayan and Rosh Yeshiva in Toledo, Spain, alongside the R. Yosef Ibn M’Gash (RI M’Gash). He was one of the great poskim of his time, responding to questions from his contemporaries the RaMBaN, RaSHB”A and others.
At the end of the second volume (with an additional title page) the work Shiyur Shitta Mekubetzes on Bova Basra by R. Betzalel Ashkenazi.
