By Rav Issachar Shlomo Teichtal hy”d. With dedication to Rabbi Moshe Shimon Zivitz, Ra’avad of Pittsburgh. Rav Issachar Shlomo Teitchel (1885-1945) studied in Pressburg, served as rabbi, rosh yeshiva, dayan, and teacher in the resort town of Piestany in western Slovakia. He was connected to Minchat Elazar of Munkatch. Murdered on 13th of Shvat 1945 by a Ukrainian on a camp train, since he defended another Jew who asked for water. According to a witness testimony, his last words were “spread my wellsprings [of Torah] outwards.” | Original binding is cloth-covered. Stamps of ownership. 106 pages. 33cm. Generally good condition.
