Rabbi Shmuel HaLevi Jozefow, the Admor of Dubna-Koritz-Brezneh, the son of Rabbi Baruch ben Tzion Jozefow of Dubnow and the grandson of Rabbi Yechiel Michel of Koretz, Rabbi of Meshulam Zusia From the village of Ma'azibuz, a descendant of Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heshil (the lover of Israel), father of the Hasidic court of Apta. 
Son of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin, Rabbi Yechiel Michel of Zlaczew (the Maggid of Zlaczew), Rabbi Pinchas Shapira of Koretz, Rabbi David HaLevi Segal author of the Turei Zahav, Rabbi Shmuel of Kaminka and the Baal Shem Tov. 
Served as Admor in Mezhiborz, Edinitz, and Butushan.
He lived in the home of Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heshil (the lover of Israel) and inherited his books.
