Tractate Ketubot with all commentators. Lemberg, 1863. Impressive copy.

Specifications: The initial and Rif's title pages bear Rabbi Mordechai of Mykolaiv's handwritten signatures, and his son, Rabbi Yaakov Shlomo's stamps.

The Admor Rabbi Mordechai Shmerler of Mykolaiv was son-in-law of Rabbi Chaim Avraham Redlich of Mykolaiv, who was son-in-law of Rabbi Meir of Przemyślany. Rabbi Mordechai Shmerler was the Admor of Mykolaiv during his father-in-law's lifetime, and subsequently immigrated to the Land of Israel and settled in Safed. He passed away in 1864. Refer to: Alfasi, Encyclopedia L'Chassidut 3, 226-227. 

Rabbi Yaakov Shlomo Shmerler, the Admor of Gura-Humorului, was son of the Admor Rabbi Mordechai of Mykolaiv and son-in-law of Rabbi Yoel Moskowitz of Schatz. He was the rabbi of Vaslui, and later the Admor of Gura-Humorului, Bukovina. He passed away in 1927. His son was the Admor Rabbi Meir who served in Przemyślany, Gura-Humorului. His son-in-law was Rabbi Avraham Brandwein of Stratyn-Haifa. Refer to: Alfasi, Encyclopedia L'Chassidut 2, 324-325. 

Condition: Fine. Aging stains. Erasures on some of the stamps and part of Rabbi Mordechai Shmerler's handwritten signature. Original leather binding with gilt decorations.
