Five Posters and Advertising Notices – Theater Performances and Cultural Events – Tel- Aviv and Jerusalem, 1918-1936

Five posters and advertising notices printed in Tel-Aviv-Jaffa and in Jerusalem in the years 1918-1936. Four are advertising various theatrical performances.
1. Advertising poster for "Belshazzar" and "Avrahm'l HaSandlar" by "Hoveve Habamah HaIvrit" in "Eden" cinema. S. Shoshani Printing press, Jaffa. 1918.
31.5X48.5 cm. Fair-poor condition. Dark stains. Folding marks, creases and numerous tears (some open tears). Pieces of adhesive tape are pasted on the back.
2. Small advertisement for the play "HaNe'elam", "Hoveve Habamah HaIvrit" in "Eden" cinema. "Achdut" press, Tel-Aviv, 1919.
23.5X32.5 cm. Good condition. Slight creases and defects.
3. Advertising poster for a "Summer Garden" in Lilienblum Street, Tel-Aviv, where the public can buy "ice cream, cold drinks, delicacies and sweets". A. Ittin and S. Shoshani Press, Jaffa, [1920s?].
33X53 cm. Good-fair condition. Folding marks and creases. Tears at margins and at folding lines. Ink-stamps and inscription on upper right corner.
4. Invitation to a performance – "Al-Bechi" in "Zion" theater, Jerusalem. The performance was held "to benefit the arrangement of an information office for the association of clerks in Jerusalem". Azriel press, Jerusalem, 1924.
Approx. 50X70.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains. Worming. Strip of paper (torn) pasted to the back of the poster along the horizontal folding line. A stamp is pasted on the left margins.
5. Advertising poster for the play "Topaz" in "Sadan" theater, Tel-Aviv. Vardi press, Tel-Aviv, 1936.
62.5X95 cm. Good-fair condition. Folding marks and creases. Slight stains and tears.
