In 1922 immigrated with her family to Israel and sattled in Hadera.
She tried to accepted as an actress in "Habima", but eventually
returned to photograph to support her family. After working in a
photo studio improvised for several years and in 1930 she opened
a photography studio called "photo-Sonia" in Hadera.
