General description of the copy before us
At the beginning of the book, there are [9] leaves with kabbalistic prayers and Kavanot as well as gentle illustrations. Nice, orderly script.
On the inner binding, an ex-libris is glued.
On the first leaf, a faded blue stamp, which also appears on the next leaf and on leaf 67.
On the next leaves, Kabbalistic writings in Italian script from the time of printing.
On the title page of the book, a signature of Moshe Montremoli [or Pontremoli?].
The glosses and corrections
Before us is a proofread copy with dozens of important handwritten glosses and corrections!
The glosses are most likely by two different writers. One of them writes in a relatively square Rashi script while the other writes in typical Italian script.
Some of the glosses are cut off due to the cutting of the leaves during the binding of the book.
The content of the glosses indicates that they were written by an important kabbalist.
[4] 106 leaves.
Condition: Varying. Good-Fair. Leaves 46-80 have been damaged by worming with prominent holes. Several of these leaves are missing a third of their lower part and have been completed with white paper. Ancient, impressive parchment binding (slightly damaged due to worming).
