"Souvenirs from the Orient", an album with one hundred and ten photographs from Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Greece and Turkey. The album contains 55 cardboard leaves; mounted on each leaf are two photographs, most of them titled by hand (in French). The album opens with an introduction in French by G. Charvet.
The album contains photographs of various sites in Jerusalem (Western Wall, Tower of David, Dome of the Rock, Gates of the Old City, and more), Jericho, Jaffa, Tiberias, Haifa, Cairo, Damascus, Alexandria, Athens and other towns, as well as photographs of the residents of the different towns in traditional garments (group of women in Jaffa, residents in Jerusalem, a woman from Bethlehem, Bedouins in Jericho, and more).

Slight stains and defects to some of the photographs. A number of photographs are slightly faded. Stains to album leaves. A number of leaves are partly detached. Damaged and worn binding, partly detached (spine is partly detached from album body).
