A set of documents documenting the establishment of one of the most important and early Charedi neighborhoods of Jerusalem.
1. A letter from S.Z. Shragai of the Jewish Agency to R. Yosef Eliyahu Henkin, president of Ezras Torah in the U.S. 1964.
2. A letter from the Israeli ambassador in Washington to R. Yosef Eliyahu Henkin. 1965.

Shragai, head of immigration and absorption in the Jewish Agency, was very much in favor. He also adds that he felt that suitable sites were Givat Kamona and Upper Lifta.
4. Photocopy of a document from the Housing Ministry recommending handing over the lease in Givat Kamona to the Vaad HaYeshivot through R. Henkin. 1964.
5. Letter from S.Z. Shragai from the Jewish Agency to Ezras Torah in New York. 1965.
6. Letter from R. David Telsner from the American wing of the Jewish Agency. 1965.
7. Photocopy of a document from the Housing Ministry regarding the allotment of public buildings in the Givat Kamona neighborhood in Jerusalem.
