At the beginning of the book (page 1b of the introduction by Maran Rabbi Yosef Caro, and 1d at the start of halachot shechita) a beautiful frame surrounds the first words, made of a wood engraving with fruit, shapes, and flowers. Glosses in Mizrahi handwriting. Listing of ownership. Quality paper. Stains, moth marks, a number of pages are repaired. New, handsome leather binding. 400, [28] pages. 35cm.
