Initially M. Arie drew a Crocodile, but Ben Gurion told him that Crocodile in the Bible is a whale. Therefore M. Arie changed the symbol of INS crocodile to a drawing of a whale, took a picture and showed it to Ben-Gurion, how authorized it gladly.
