The book contains 96 pictures of Hebrew workers, sites, structures, the beach of Jaffa and more.
At the beginning of the book there is a two-page long handwritten note in English in which the writer notes that this book with its many pictures shows how the country has developed, unlike the description of a commander of the British forces in a speech he made during the 1936 Riots. The Jews' success comes from the British rule and there is hope for British sympathy that might help establish a home for the Jewish nation in Palestine. The note was written in December 1942, probably by a person who stayed in a military base.
Two pictures, of Hertzliya Hebrew Gymnasium and Nachalat Binyamin Street, were glued to the inner cover.
Very good condition. Time stains.
