The Hebrew Republic Book is one with special content. The author, a Christina cardinal, found that the country which existed in Eretz Yisrael during the time of King David and the Prophets was an exemplary country. According to his opinion the country of Eretz Yisrael during that time should be the model for republics in Europe of the time. In the book he deals with many important issues that relate to political philosophy, such as the relationship between the Sanhedrin and the King. This is the first complete political theory from the time of the Renaissance.
In addition, in the binding of the book, two parchment strips with many inscriptions in ink were preserved. Such practice was customary at the time, and because of this practice many important written excerpts were preserved. The handwriting is in a foreign language and was not researched or investigated.
