Letter dated 21.3.1841 from the Jewish community in the city of Pest, Hungary. The letter is in German in gothic letters, and signed by the community leaders. Sent to the chief rabbi (“J Schwab oder Rabiner” – his name appears on the envelope).
Postmark on the envelope: "Gros Kanisa".
Very good condition.
