A map of Israel printed by Israel Belkind in the journal “Hameir” which he also edited. 1911 (First Edition, Journal No. 4).
The journal focused on settling in Israel and establishing settlements.
The map also contains two regions of Israel: East to West and North to South. At the top of the map are the words “Israel from the Overview of a Bird at Flight” are inscribed.
The lithography was done by A.L. Monosson Printing, Jerusalem.
Israel Belkind (1861-1929) was a founder of the Bilu movement and a pioneer of the First Aliyah as well as a founder of the settlement of Gedera .
