A proclamation in German Calling for the Aid of the Jewish People in Israel - 1915

A proclamation in German calling to help raise donations to help the Jews in Israel, in order to overcome hunger, disease and shortage of medications which were sustained after World War I and which were present in Israel during that time.
The proclamation details how the war resulted in the cessation of financial assistance from Europe and the United States. It is mentioned that as a result of the war there were many orphans and widows. There is particular reference to the difficult conditions of the Jews living in Galicia and Bukovina. It was also noted that aid that was already given saved thousands from dying from hunger. Everyone was being asked to donate, regardless of the country of their origin.
