The land of the Carmel was purchased by a Jewish company in 1934 and placed guards on this wide stretch of land. Over a number of years gangs of local Arabs ambushed these guards and even murdered some, injuring others.
This booklet is a memorial to those murdered in the Carmel forests. Pictures of the murdered and the Carmel, a poem written for the fallen, and a will written by a 25 year old who was killed.
Illustrated paper jacket. Small tears in the white margins of the envelope. Age stains. Very fine condition. Rare.
