"Shailot V'Teshuvat Maharam Alashkar". Sudyklow, 1834. The personal copy of Rabbi Chaim Chizkiyah Medini, author of the "Sdei Chemed"

The title page bears the owner stamp of Chaim Chezkiya Medini. The next page bears an owner notation, apparently in his hand: "I purchased this book from the funds dedicated to me by HaRav....Yeshaya Berlin...". With the owner stamp of Rabbi Chaim Chezkiya Medini.
Rabbi Chaim Chezkiya Medini [1835-1905] served as rabbi in Constantinople and later Hebron. He was noted for his diligence and genius in nigle and nistar. He published his encyclopedic work the "Sdei Chemed", in 18 sections.
Nice copy on light-blue paper. Many worming holes on the leaves of the book, not bound.
Moderate condition.
